Niamh McDermott, 5th Year student in Moville Community College will appear for the second time on Today with Maura and Dáithí next Tuesday 13th February. Niamh and her father Chef Brian McDermott will be cooking live on the popular RTE show.
Niamh made her TV debut showcasing her delicious dish of meatballs with spaghetti and bolognese sauce for presenters Dáithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane last October; so she is no stranger to the studio. Niamh's sister Aoife, a first year student in Moville Community College also featured on the show with her mum, Brenda.
Niamh's father, Chef Brian McDermott, will be launching his new cookery book entitled 'Brian McDermott's Donegal Table' on Wednesday 7th March at 7.30pm in The Redcastle Hotel along with special guests including Nevin Maguire. Brian will be appearing in Moville Community College earlier that day. Both daughters Niamh and Aoife have recipes in Brian's new book.
Niamh was recently serenaded by Donegal favourite Daniel O'Donnell for her 16th birthday while accompanying her dad who was working with Daniel on a forthcoming TV production in Donegal last week.
