European day of languages TY fundraiser

To celebrate European day of languages on 26th September, the TY group held a lunchtime sale of French food to raise money for a local charity.

There were croissants, crêpes and chocolate and baguettes with Nutella or butter on offer and all sold out within 15 minutes of opening the door.

It was a great success and reflected a good team spirit and high level of cooperation from everybody involved. Students eagerly took on the roles of accountants, cleaners, vendors, bouncers and chefs. Alan Sugar would have some excellent candidates among this group!

The students raised €130 and £5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Donegal Hospice. Well done!
