Symptoms of Covid 19

The Response Plan for the safe and sustainable reopening of Post Primary Schools identifies symptoms of Covid 19 as:

· High temperature

· Cough

· Shortness of breath or breathing difficulties

· Loss of smell, of taste or distortion of taste

The Roadmap for the full return to school advises:

“No person, (child, teacher or parent) should attend an educational setting if unwell or any members of their household are unwell with symptoms of Covid 19”

“It is critical that people stay at home if unwell”.

If a member of the school community is displaying symptoms consistent with Covid 19 or any members of their household have symptoms they should stay at home and ring their GP for advice.
