Every Year since it’s inception in 2001 Moville has organised the Annual Jingle Bells Race to raise funds for a variety of local Charities. The Jingle Bells Race is an event which involves all members of the school community as well as past pupils and members of the local community. Anyone is welcome to join in this great fun event and walk, run, jog, hop, skip or jump all the way from Lafferty’s Lane back to the school.

Participants tie small bells on to their runners and many dress up in fancy dress for the occasion.

This year’s Jingle Bells Race was held on Monday15th December in favourable conditions and attracted the usual large crowd of participants. The three charities who will benefit from this years event are St. Vincent De Paul, Jig Saw and a National Charity for Children with Disabilities.
