Student council training with Eco-Unesco

On Tuesday 27th November Moville Community College welcomed Emer Madding from Eco-Unesco to the school. She met with members of the Student Council to provide some training and to help create an Action Plan to deal with environmental problems. Throughout the session the students explored their role as peer educators and looked at issues surrounding sustainable development. Their aim is now to raise awareness in the school community of environmental issues and to try to tackle some of the problems. It was a very informative session and was enjoyed by all.
