Moville Community College goes orange for Cycle Against Suicide 9th February


Moville Community College will Go Orange on 9th February 2018 to support the Cycle Against Suicide movement. There will be a number of events running in the school throughout the day.

'Circuits for a Healthy Mind' will run in the GP Hall for during periods 1 - 8 for students. There are two time slots where we welcome parents; 13.50 - 14.30 and 14.30 - 15.10. To sign up for a slot please email colleengallagher@donegaletb.ie

The circuit will involve meditation, nutrition, exercise, positive thoughts, a talk, rest, photography exhibition.

There are seven stations each will last five minutes. It takes one 40 minute class.

There is a photography competition running this week.

There are five categories Junior,Senior, Transition Year, Room 100 and 99 and Staff/Parents.

The theme is :What makes you happy?Simply find a photograph in your phone write one line of explanation on why it makes you happy and your category to mccphotographycomp@gmail.com

The top five photographs in each category will be exhibited on the day with a winner in each.The C.A.S Committee will shortlist the photographs and Lauren Watt past pupil will judge the winners. Lauren was a past C.A.S student leader and is studying photography in college.
