Last term our two TY classes took part in activities to raise money for charity and to celebrate European Day of Languages on Sat 26th Sept. 4A organised a French food sale at lunchtime, selling croissant, pain au chocolat, baguettes with Nutella and crepes, along with tea and coffee. The event was very successful and we had a busy time feeding many students. 4B organised and paid for a Contintental themed lunch for the class where we ate food from Spain, France and Poland. The two groups raised €294 and the money will be donated to the Syrian Refugee Crisis with Oxfam Ireland. Well done to TY, who showed great maturity and organisational skills and cooperated well together.
